Build Details
This 442 was a good starting point for a complete frame off restoration.
Exterior:
- Paint: Completed by Showtime Classic Cars in Clearwater, FL
- Rust Problems: Had some problem with floor and trunk. Replaced one rear quarter panel
- Hood: Completely repainted to match firewall and engine area
- Bumpers: Rear re-chromed with new front bumper
- Underbody and Trunk: Coated with Truck Bed Coating
- Frame: Frame was sand blasted and repainted
- Body Trim: Re-polished or replaced as needed
Interior:
- Completely restored, completed with Legendacy upholstery
Engine and Mechanical Systems:
- Complete rebuild of the 455 big block
- Engine Dyno spec sheet: rated at 450 Horsepower and 550 lbs of torque
- Braking is using Hydroboost Braking Systems
- Serpentine Conversion Kit (March Performance Pulleys)

Parts Breakdown:
- Intake Manifold: Edelbrock 2730 Torker intake manifold
- Headers: Mondello header 3' collector (the only ones that would fit in a convertible with a big block)
- Cylinder Heads: Mondello Edelbrock Performer RPM Aluminum, Cryogenically Frozen
- Exhaust: 2 1/2" with Flowmaster and completely Jet Coated
- Ignition: MSD Pro-Billet Distributors
- Controller Box: MSD 6AL-2
- Carburetor: Holley 770 Street Avenger
- Cooling: 4 Core stock radiator with dual electric fans
- Front Suspension: upgrades pending
- Rear Suspension: upgrades pending
- Drive Shaft: Aluminum Driveshaft 3.5 inch
